How We Do Money is How We Do Everything

Most of us already know the importance of having a good relationship with money.

Simply put, how we do money is how we do everything.

Money impacts every decision we make.

AND...I know that many women really struggle with this relationship and don’t think that it’s possible to have a good, healthy relationship with money.

Today, I want to tell you that it doesn't have to be so!

I’d like to introduce you to Sara, a happy client who also had her doubts but she took the leap, invested in herself, and now, has a relationship with money that she doesn’t hide from.

Sara was told her entire life by her father that “making money is hard”.

Sara took on this belief and S-T-R-U-G-G-L-E-D with making money.

She could never seem to bring enough in and there were always more days left at the end of the month than there was money (have you ever felt like that?).

As we worked together we unraveled that belief of “making money is hard” to uncover that believing it allowed her to stay small and not take any risks in her business...which felt safe.

Since the conscious mind is only 5% of who we are, we dove into the other 95%, her subconscious, and discovered that she had what’s called trauma energy of “parental approval.”

Staying small was keeping her in a space of being approved of by her parents because if she made more money than her parents….AND made it doing something she loved, she believed her parents would reject her.

The thought of being rejected by her parents felt like death to her.

As we worked on her mindset, shifting her belief from “making money is hard” to “I can make money with fun and ease” and identifying and releasing trapped emotions and trauma, Sara began to find that she had more money at the end of the month than days.

She was able to pay off her car and each month she was able to put $200 in savings.

She also found that her parents didn’t reject her and were actually proud of her.

Sara began to enjoy her work, have more pleasure in her world AND, she felt the confidence in herself she said she was always looking for.

Pretty cool, eh?

...all because she decided to face her fears and give attention to her relationship with money.

What about you?

How would you describe your relationship with money?
